Show Notes:
HOT RIZE
with Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers

October 1, 1983
Pavillion at Soda Springs Park
Manitou Springs, Colorado

Hot Rize:
Tim O'Brien, Pete Wernick, Charles Sawtelle, Nick Forster.

Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers:
Red Knuckles, Waldo Otto, Slade, Wendell Mercantile,
and special guest Elmo Otto.

Hot Rize played an afternoon and an evening set at this
bluegrass festival in the small mountain town of Manitou
Springs near Colorado Springs. This is a pretty good mono
soundboard, flawed slightly by a few power slips and volume
problems.

All in all, a rare glimpse of vintage Hot Rize!

The Reasonable Band was a local Colorado Springs band that,
at the time, featured David Harvey on mandolin and fiddle.
Interestingly, David bears a striking resemblance to Elmo Otto.
